Mumbai: Ambernath-Badlapur still have affordable housing options

Property prices in most of the areas in Mumbai are increasing rapidly, but still there are some areas where property buyers can find affordable housing options and the Ambernath-Badlapur stretch is one such area. Individual home seekers and investors can get a considerable number of residential choices that fit both their budget and housing requirements.

One can find ample choices of under construction properties price of which range somewhere between Rs. 18 to Rs. 45 lakhs per unit. As per the reports, in these areas maximum demand is for 1BHK and 2BHK units and one of the reasons behind this is enough supply of these properties.

An industry expert stated that, “The Thane-Kalyan belt has become unaffordable and thus, the demand has spilled over to neighboring localities such as Ambernath and Badlapur. High demand for 1BHK and 2BHK units also indicates the need for budget housing in the locality.”

There are many developers who have launched projects with 1BHK and 2BHK apartment choices. Some of these include Sai Constructions, Squarefeet Group, GBK Group and Saraswati Infra etc. Some other developers such as Poddar Group, Ankita Builders and Mohan Group offer 3BHK apartment choices too.

Ashutosh Limaye, Head – research and REIS, Jones Lang LaSalle India informed that, “The phenomenon of development outstripping a location’s infrastructure, is very visible in the fringe areas of Mumbai. Apart from Navi Mumbai and Thane, all other outlying locations suffer from a chronic infrastructure deficit and the Ambernath-Badlapur stretch is no different.”

Favista’s Views: Affordable housing options in Ambernath Badlapur are good real estate investment opportunities for those who are not able to afford ever-increasing prices of properties in other stretches. One can find various investment options here such as Satyam Residency, Mohan Greenwoods and Poddar Samruddhi Evergreens.
