NOIDA: Developers ease for farmers agree for talks and buyers might pay installments on time

Greater Noida may witness some relief from protests by farmers as well as bodies such as Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA). NEFOWA is now known to have urged its members to pay their installments to the developers. Moreover, a group of farmers have decided to hold talks with the NOIDA authority with the intention of settling disputes amicably.

Earlier, NEFOWA had reasons to protest for they were asked to pay some extra charges. However, once the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (C.R.E.D.A.I.), stepped in and confirmed that no extra charges will be levied to existing home buyers who have invested in properties in the N.O.I.D.A Extension area. Moreover, the approval of the Greater Noida Master Plan 2012 in August 2012 had resulted in a deadlock between farmers and NOIDA development authorities.
