Gurgaon: NOC not required to register land less than 1000 sq. m.

According to the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) and the District Town Planner (DTP) it will no longer be a mandate to obtain a no objection certificate for sale or purchase of plots less than 1000 square meter. This was decided in a meeting between the municipal commissioner and the deputy commissioner on 26 September 2012. This relaxation is not applicable to land bigger than 1000 square meters.

It is also noteworthy that in plots of these sizes no further division of built-up area will be allowed.
This ruling is currently applicable to plots less than 1000 square meters in Rajendra Park, Laxman Vihar, Daultabad Road, Ashok Vihar, Krishna Colony, Shanti Nagar, Bhim Garh Kheri, Dayanand Colony and Prem Nagar. These are under the jurisdiction of the municipal body.
